Holy Father, all I learn from the news during the few last weeks is something I had been suspecting for decades: the dark enemy is so good at concealing horrors that we don’t know what actually has become its norm and how bad its minions have been misbehaving. Meanwhile, most of the media mentions the heat wave or the coming tax raises « for climate purposes ». What about the recent 110% increase in burning French churches? No, it doesn’t exist. Except maybe Notre Dame, but it just was an electrical issue which has been fixed and the undamaged glasses were replaced by new, horrendous and expensive, ones. I pray people wake up and embrace back reality, harmony and prosperity.

## [Religious Observances]
In the Western Christian tradition, July 3 marks the feast of Saint Thomas the Apostle, commemorating his role as one of the original Twelve Apostles and his evangelization efforts in regions including Parthia and India, where tradition records his martyrdom by spearing around 72 AD. Known biblically as "Doubting Thomas" from John 20:24-29, he exemplifies a demand for tangible evidence—insisting on touching Christ's wounds—before affirming the Resurrection, resolving skepticism through direct verification rather than unexamined acceptance. This date aligns with the historical translation of his relics to Edessa, as noted in early church accounts, and is observed with Masses emphasizing faith grounded in sensory confirmation.
Eastern Orthodox calendars on July 3 honor multiple martyrs and hierarchs, including Holy Martyr Hyacinth of Caesarea in Cappadocia, a chamberlain executed under Emperor Trajan for refusing to renounce Christ, underscoring steadfastness amid imperial coercion. Also commemorated are Martyrs Diomedes, Eulampius, Asclepiodotus, and Golinduch, who endured tortures in the same era, alongside Saint Anatolios, Patriarch of Constantinople (died 458), whose tenure involved defending orthodoxy against heresies like Monophysitism through conciliar theology. These feasts, rooted in Byzantine synaxaria, promote ascetic disciplines as bulwarks against doctrinal dilution and worldly enticements, with liturgical services featuring troparia that recount their trials and intercessory roles.
Such observances derive from pre-schism martyrologies, with empirical traces in relic veneration sites like Mylapore, India, where Thomas's tomb aligns with 1st-century trade routes facilitating apostolic travel, though modern historiography debates the Acts of Thomas's details against sparse archaeological corroboration.

Good morning my good Sir!🤓
Have a nice Friday while I drive away for the weekend.🙏🏻
Safe travels and happy times spent. My broken rib seems to be healing. But I still need pain killers to get through the day. I rarely use my air conditioner but the last few days it has been running for half the day..🙏
