Well, because we can't laugh anymore. We're supposed to take everything very seriously. We're supposed to think that everything right down to the brand of beverage you buy at the store, and what store you choose to buy it at, is an existential struggle for the soul of civilization.
And if you can't laugh, then all a meme can do is say "Here's a thing I think is true, presented in a slightly confusing way."
Deport them all.
