It is not the Zionist postion, however. And this is where the wrinkle lies.
Taken a step further: Are there going to be UN personnel on the ground, in force? Are IDF going to shoot at them for 'supporting a two-state solution', or 'protecting Hamas', because Hamas is 'capitulating'?
They won't like it, because Greater Israel wipes out all those sort of edges, and swallows up vast tracts of land from neighbouring countries. Google the map. Of course, UN is against that sort of behaviour as well.
I find Trump's solution pretty elegant, provided one can put boots, be they construction boots, on the ground safely. Once there are many foreign bodies there, milling about, the claim that every soul is Hamas, is diluted.
I think DJT was trying to do that (flood the zone with civilian foreigners) in Ukraine as well, but the problem here, is that there have been many mercs killed by Russians on the battle-fiield already, and well, one can no longer tell the foreigners apart. So even with lots of foreign construction workers, the Russians are going to keep on keeping on, and it just won't stop anything like the battle that is raging. And TBH, the world needs to burn through those CIA-trained mercs from South America/Cartels.
But I guess the population of Gaza has been through enough, and Hamas appears to be pulling their head in, which in ordinary circumstances would cause the IDF to push harder, believing it is a sign of weakness.
It's interesting, because the UN is pro two-state solution as per a 142/193 vote.

Hence, my doubt.
