Truth
by E. F. Hayward
The highest pinnacle that man can reach,
And the greatest gospel that he may preach,
Is to love the truth, and to hate a lie;
Without this virtue, our honor would die.
For Truth is the essence of all that's good,
The real foundation of Brotherhood;
It comes from the heart that is clean and pure,
And makes our pledges of honor secure;
It conquers selfishness, greed and deceit,
Expels from the mind any impulse to cheat;
Puts into prayer the force of the Soul,
Brings us results, for it reaches the goal.
Promise, without truth, is hollow and dead,—
We base our hope on the promise ahead.
Teach it, and preach it, instill it in youth,
Then practice it daily; telling the truth.

Did you see that Tucker interview about Alzheimer's, where the researcher shows a very new study that found that empathy between dogs and humans can stave off dementia, by growing one's brain via the release of oxytocin, apparently - and it is all about love...

That and low-dose supplements of lithium...which is essential for making oxytocin.
If they started making oxytocin easy and inexpensive to have, and consume, and everybody used it, the whole world would change. That stuff is cosmic joy for making people capable of more empathy and nurturing emotions. I wonder if that low dose supplement Lithium orotate is the form of Lithium that helps with this. it is a very helpful little supplement especially for anxious people. Time to read up.
the word Lithium comes from the root Lith = from the Greek word líthos, meaning "stone" or "rock".
Evolutionarily, lithium has the atomic number 3, so a light and reactive and ubiquotous atom, that would easily form, in Carl Sagan envisioned 'primeval organic soups'.
In any case, the atom is essential, in the dog/human brain-biggering exercise (and the dog might have one occasionally, really).
Dose is easily available as a supplement, 1mg for maintenance - to 5mg for stronger dose - say if, fixing a dementia or depression-affected, or otherwise mentally ill person. Also, it is soluble in water, which is useful if helping a dementia patient who refuses to take supplements at all (they don't want to struggle with a giant pill in their throat, or might fear swallowing).
Lithium literally turns one's water into precious spring water, from one of the world's most healing springs: There are some wells or springs in the world, (one in Texas) that have lithium content, and the water from those, is worth big $$$$ (60 bucks a bottle anyone?).
So a supplement is practical.
Animals use lithium to grow braincells, so unless eating brains regularly, one might have to either: eat or drink it - or supplement. Oh and most people in the world are deficient in lithium - (by design - enter tinfoil crinkling, but: (whispers: big pharma).
Plants only store it, so vegetables, grains etc. CAN have some, if soils allow. Get food from lithium-rich areas - do your research.
Seaweed is 10X more likely to have a good content, as seawater (brine) is a good source as it has millions of years of mineral-rich water flowing into the briny.
Also filter feeders, such as mussels, scallops and oysters, can boost one's intake, for those who can eat them (many people don't). They filter seawater, and don't grow brains, basically.
