I have no sauce but I think there would be a lot less homeless without taxes. We are never free, as long as you're alive and have an address, you must pay the King. You never own land, a vehicle can be taxed several times in its useful life. In PA, you buy a new car, it's taxed, you sell it, it's taxed. That can happen several times. Officially if you sell something you're supposed to pay tax. It never happens though, only with vehicles because the sale is monitored through titles and registrations. Owning a piece of property anymore feels like renting it. The State has nothing to do with you're property, yet you can not live on it without paying up. Even off-grid now is becoming a thing that's impossible. Laws are being made to stop people from living in RVs on their own property. There's a lot of folks that want to full time RV, yet have a home base. But nope, the State is cracking down on such flagrant disrespect of their right to steal your money.
