Holy Father, I made it safely and am now sipping my first holiday coffee, contemplating how I may organise my day. There are packets to collect, food to be purchased and then there are the usual: gardening, reading, music, ensuring that everything remains peaceful and under control. This morning I woke up at 7:00, then realise that I’d maybe sleep another cycle so I got back to bed and actually rested. Falling asleep when it’s needed is one of life’s little miracles. I praise You for allowing me this indulgence and for how refreshed I now feel.
