Holy Father, both of the small teams I was routing for in this soccer world cup were defeated las night. My adoptive country and Norway. Both did tremendously well as they reached unexpected levels. I have to say I dreamed of David vs Goliath scenarii even though I don’t watch soccer an don’t even own a television, now the last rounds are to be played between the usual suspects which turns this turnament into some mundane. I praise You for the Hope these teams gave us as well as this morning’s reality shot: this event doesn’t define who I am or how I should behave.
