Wasn't sec. 219/1217 part of the NDAA? The Save America Act has some questionable language about digital ID or the like, as I recall. Personally I oppose any legislation that sneaks in passages attacking our freedom or sovereignty and I hope this Save America Act will turn out to be alright.
