I must ask, are we heading to Islam? Pretty shocking to me. The passivity amongst Christians is beyond shocking.
So,,many people are around me, they say as a Christian I should just pray.
So many people say the Muslims are good people.
As a Christian man, I was highly disappointed. The vibe was just be decapitaded.
I just don’t understand. Please help me understand.
I have not condemned one Muslim. But if telling a sinner they are a sinner is too harsh, I'm not sure what else to do then just lay back and 'let God handle it'.
God can lift a drink of water to your mouth, no? Then why doesn't he do it right now, since you thirst? Is that an example of his inability? Or his unwillingness? Or maybe he wants you to get off your ass and drink for yourself because he gave you the means to do so, and if he has to lift his hand every time you want something, he is less of a God and more of a servant to man.
"He's a false prophet but just dance and joy and love and everything will be better!" Yeah, that's what I was calling spineless. You admit he's a false prophet, but don't want to criticize those who follow him. You believe harsh words will harden them, as they behead another Christian family. Oh, the moderates you mean? The ones who cower in fear and say nothing as said Christians are beheaded, or as they kill their own daughters? You'll forgive me if I don't give them the benefit of the doubt.
Again, pay attention to what I'm saying and who I am saying it to. Is there even one Muslim here? Am I evangelizing? No. I am spreading awareness amongst Christians and those with Christian ethics. There is a difference. Islam thrives because of falsehood, and it is not just contained to Islam. Many Christians think 'turn the other cheek' is a way to live, and not Jesus telling the Jews to stop being so vengeful over every little thing, because they had taken the law way too far.
I follow Jesus, not Paul. Paul was the homie, but he also never lived in the world I do. He was just a man, like me, and would struggle just as I have. I do not have righteous anger (except maybe towards your inability to understand my point, and your willingness to run away from it without objectively confronting it). But I will always prefer righteous anger to indifferent pacifism, or this 'holy apathy/Christian defeatism'. Go and try to evangelize in a Muslim country, you will then be presented with a choice: Pay the 'Jizyah' (a tax, meant to substitute for your blood), be imprisoned or die. Oh well, you'd pay the tax for sure. Except now you can only preach in Church, no proselytizing on the streets. Islam is Satan's baby, and you want to handle it with kid gloves.
Save as many souls as you want. You have not addressed one point I've said. You've done nothing but tell me I'm not a real Christian. That's a very poor argument. Christianity is not a religion of sunshine, happiness and kumbaya. It is a religion of sacrifice, persecution, and mourning.
You keep saying you're not condemning Muslims, yet you mock any Christian who dares to show them mercy.
You claim to follow Jesus, not Paul, but Jesus dined with sinners and saved the woman caught in adultery. He reserved His harshest words for the self-righteous, the ones who thought they had God all figured out.
You say you're not evangelizing, just 'spreading awareness' but your harshness has no redemptive purpose at all, and it's just noise.
No. I mock Christians who show Islam mercy. That is the distinction. If a Muslim recognizes Islam is evil, he may fear for his life, as the penalty for apostasy is death. But he would not disagree with what I say. He would understand my words as truth and would not think less of Jesus Christ because I said them.
I am just a sinner in the eyes of God, destined for Hell. And it is only by His grace that I will be saved. If I am sent to Hell, I will be a weeper, not a gnasher of teeth, for I will know it is just. That being said, did Jesus eat with the pharisees and the Romans as well? The ones who killed him? Because that's what you're saying we should do. As if your kindness hasn't been visibly weaponized against you throughout the West. Did Jesus ever hit someone in self-defense? Did he ever kill in self-defense? Are we then to assume that because Jesus didn't do it, it is wrong or unholy?
Noise is preferable to slumber. I would argue I've put forth a more redemptive purpose than you have thus far. Islam is conquering Europe. Islam is sinking its claws into the rest of the West. It is incompatible with Christianity and our way of life. I will not be silent about it. I will not hide the 'Truth', for anyone. Hundreds of thousands of British girls (that's just Britain, not France, Germany, etc.) deserve people like me who aren't afraid to offend others, those who are so easily offended by truth.
You should re-read, I was very clear Islam has an error. I agree it is incompatible with Christianity, and i agree it's trying to take over. Christ still wins in the end, so no matter what anyone does or says, it's a foregone conclusion. And satan really is out there prowling like a lion to find those who they can deceive, including Christians, so don't forget to stay humble.
No, I read quite clearly, you think I am evangelizing to Muslims on GAW. I am not. There are none here.
Christ does win in the end, so why even defend the innocent? Because Christ told us to.
I am humbled and have been humbled countless times. I do not fear being humbled. I fear Christians letting defeatism masquerade as piety. And yes, Satan is prowling, it is telling you are so easy to levy these accusations against me yet lack the humility to levy them at yourself. I pray God enlightens you to our responsibility as Christians, and as Americans. And to show you that opposing evil is not evil in of itself, depending on the means.
