The law in the old days was automatic deportation,if they took any assistance.
And you also needed a sponsor,to financially guarantee you do not become a burden to the state.
Immigrants had to have sponsors or jobs. My great grandfather renounced his allegiance to the Kaiser when he came through Ellis Island. Was a carpenter.
My mom has his immigration document framed in her house. Seriously cool.
I know my mother immigrated from sweden after ww2 when she was a child.
But all of them have used food stamps and still doing it. Walmart continues to support this crap.
Good then we have a lot of them we can deport!
Then they dont get green cards.
Then they get deported.

Illegal migrants Never should receive welfare.
Migrants that are here legally and becoming citizens maybe for a short designated time.
I believe all welfare should be temporary and for a designated time limit. That gives the person a stop date and time to figure out their life. Living off the government should never be a permanent solution for healthy adults.

Why isn't Trump suing Walmart and other retailers to obtain EBT card sales since he's getting nothing from the Blue states/sanctuary states etc...? Easy peasy to locate the ILLEGALS AND green card VISA card WELFARE recipients.
