Somehow, I think staying in Africa or the Middle East would be preferable. You'd be living in poverty... but at least it's a clean honest poverty... and not a boring limp-wrist depressing socialist reality like Britain has.
Seventeen years ago I developed an irrepressible urge to leave the UK. At the time I didn't really know why but now I believe that I had guidance.
