I think it was a combination of my not phrasing my text post delicately enough, though I tried, as well as an admitted overreaction due to associating my post with "voat/pol"

Though this raises a good point that if we can be misconstrued as anti-Semitic by the media, then it opens the door for false flags.

So probably best to shy away from the topic unless counterproductive, or at least tread carefully and clearly.

This could serve as a canary in the coal mine, so to speak.
