Its not a topic area I've known anything about until just the last couple days - perhaps its just me but I suspect there are more anons for which this is also new info.
A bit of searching has lead to the below link which references [P] quite heavily - again all new to me, but if I had to make a call, I think you are right in that we have some substantive connections as to what P signifies.

I'm not a fan anymore of this anon. I used to be. So whenever he bumps into me, I usually troll him. I don't go out and look to get into it with him, but will defend myself when he gets picky nasty as this is his character. So, I'll pass on that, thank you.
