There can be up to 39 names per indictment.
39 x 203,495 = 7,936,305 possible arrests
Of course, not every indictment has 39 named parties on it.
Of course, some parties are named in more than one of these indictments.
Probably not going to be anywhere near as close to that number.
But, we could see upwards of a million arrests. Maybe more? We can't just throw them into currently operational facilities. They'd have to go to those FEMA camps they built to put us in?
How many arrests do you think there'll be? Should we start a pool?
GITMO
"We'll turn the lights out for ya"
Hey, could you (or someone else that sees this) explain whether this is really credible?
I don't want to sound like a doubter, because I'm not, but I want to show this to my dad and I don't understand enough about something like this.
How can this research team find out if sealed indictments have been written and who they're for? It feels crazy that us everyday pedes would be able to have access to this information.
This is a LOT of indictments, it's the first time I'm hearing of this, and it's just hard to believe this is actually happening.
There are a lot of them. They are filed at the district level. So, the government doesn't post some big master list. SO, to track this people are pulling reports from each individual district and aggregating to add up totals. Stack that on top of sealed cases sitting for years and you get a bit of a logistical nightmare trying to point people towards a single source. The closest thing I can find is the public spreadsheet linked below(which links to a bunch of other spreadsheets with case numbers, classifications, and whatnot).
Of course, sealed indictments are sealed so who they're against or what exactly for is going to be well sealed.
If you look at the linked spreadsheets inside the big spreadsheet it lists details like: cs_caseid cs_case_number cs_short_title cs_date_filed cs_date_term cs_date_reopen cs_type cs_case_restriction lead_caseid lead_case_number cs_short_title lead_date_filed lead_date_term lead_date_reopen office_trans pre_judge_name ref_judge_name cs_sort_case_numb cs_def_num cs_term_digit party party_start_date party_end_date party_def_num loc_date_start loc_date_end
IF ANYBODY HAS BETTER RESOURCES ON THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW
