It's a bit drab of you to think any change in the system is akin to communism...

Granted though, I don't think the above video is the best way to go as I would still want a more united military against an invasion force like China and I don't believe nuclear weapons would be evenly distributed to "military city states" in this system u/Traveling_Thru_Time proposes. I also don't think ownership of a company should be given willy nilly to workers with each given the same amount regardless of their contribution. Instead alter the current political system with an incremental change to begin distributing power among a larger group of people.

I think the current stockholder system for public companies is definitely flawed and a governance system by cryptocurrency would definitely allow a more balanced approach for workers and users of a product/company. Fractionalized shares/voted that can't be duplicated/cheated and online voting without board members solely running the company direction would make for a better system.

I also think there should be a way to share the same power the legislative branch currently holds but with more people. Currently the House of Representatives has been capped at 435 for over 100 years while in years previously it tended to go up as the population went up (around 50,000 people per 1 Representative in the 1780s but not 750000+ people per 1 Representative currently). With the advent of the internet and blockchain technology, there is less of a need to actually have Representatives as more people can just represent themselves and vote on certain laws online. Cut half or more of the power of the House of Representatives and give it to people vote. There can be several ways people can acquire the right to vote some laws online but it won't be given out freely as soon as you turn 18. There would still be a separate Executive Branch, Judicial Branch, and a Senate but part of the population will be able to propose and vote on certain laws.

Power does not need to be further concentrated in the hands of fewer people and instead expanded to more people overall as the population increases. Money is just a tool you use to build your ideal world but if the monetary system and/or the incentive is flawed, nothing will happen for anyone. Our system is not the worst right now but can be improved. Changes can be made that further fix loopholes in the hands of the few grabbing power. Those changes can be made in a way that make it possible for more changes to be made if needed.

Term limits don't stop large corporations from bribing politicians and implementing socialism to their benefit.

Term limits will also mean less experienced politicians writing up laws that will have more loopholes (while the rich and powerful have no term limits in finding loopholes). Waiting until a law loophole affects the country for people to finally change it is extremely inefficient and wasteful way to govern people.
