Fellow Qanoner moonchild and I recently completed a brainstorming session^ to officially determine the pronunciation of the QANON conspiratorial movement to which we both officially belong to... as presumably you all do, too.

I'm so tired of hearing it butchered as "Q anon", like it's two words, "Q" and "anon".

It's obviously not.

It's obviously pronounced "kwaynon."

And we need to let the media know they must pronounce it as such, or else they're bigots!

I am stumped, and hope someone here can address this. I'm honestly not casting any aspersions... I just want to figure out the process through which some questionable stuff, knowingly created, finds its way here.

How do two seemingly-long-time board members post with the exact same image, conveying the exact same (already addressed & answered) misconception, at the exact same time here?

Questions get asked, and answered, and re-asked, and re-answered here all the time. It's a little tiresome, and could definitely be largely remedied by an improved Search function that did more than just search New Post titles, but it is what it is. And, upon searching the Internet for "why is joe biden's state of the union speech listed as unofficial", I've discovered that this answer isn't readily available to the casual searcher. So I have no problem with this underlying question. So much weird stuff in DC, and it's great when we can collective answer some of it. ?

My real questions are:

• How would two different people end up with same image, and the same misconception, and be compelled to post it at the same time?
• What's the source of this stuff? Is there some mailing list, twitter feed, Telegramph thingy that folks belong to, which knowingly pumps this out and that well-meaning folks then breathlessly bring here?

If there is an external source that is creating material (yes, it's just a screenshot with "Unofficial" highlighted, but it logically had to have been created by someone other than the two posters) to spread distracting disinfo... that's really not a trustworthy source to be following.

This certainly isn't the first time I've seen this phenomenon, of disinfo-perpetuating images showing up hear near-simultaneously. It's just the first time I've bothered to ask. (And yes, I directly asked the two OPs where this image came from... I just haven't heard back from either yet. And neither cited the source of the marked-up screenshot image in their posts.)

Not exactly earth shattering, hardly a secret... but still, 2017, ?.

I was so thrilled to see a (based, natch) MyPillow rep at muh local Costco today, that I dropped $60 on two fricken pillows. I've never bought anything from the vendor reps at Costco, but I was really happy to see MyPillow there after all the btch-*ss retailers that dropped them as soon as the Left pulled their tired crybully act. So money-schmoney, I needed me some MyPillows!!!

The sales rep admitted MyPillow's contract with Costco ran for another month, and didn't know if it would be extended. And, in all likelihood, I figure it probably won't. And, in all likelihood, that won't really affect MyPillow too much. But I do appreciate Costco for not punking out completely, and piling on, as you know they were pressured to do. I didn't really want to have to burn my Costco card. I mean, where else can I walk in with a shopping list of three items (ground beef, frozen salmon, and maple syrup), and walk out $295 poorer, and somehow feel happy about it? No, Costco's not perfect, but they really are pretty good at what they do.

If anyone has any good lines from today (or the prior dismal days) that can/should be incorporated into memes, today or in the future, please add them here.

And if anyone has any further ideas to punch up those memes, or corrections to the precise language used, certainly tack them on to the suggestions.

And mods, if you're so inclined, to keep this clean, deleting any extraneous top-level responses that aren't meme lines/idea would make this a more useful resource. With all that spare free time you have. ?
