I work for a state agency and work in the HR division. I was just in a meeting and learned the Governor's Human Resource Officer has just received orders to report to JAG training. He is scheduled to be gone until December 1st. I know he had been doing some JAG related duties during the weekend, but apparently they've got more work than they can handle. I know nothing about military justice or the process, but I find it weird they would pull a 40 year old, state agency director into such an assignment. Was curious if someone had heard of something similar happening? I guess they are pulling a large group into Virginia for the training.
