While I agree with this thought, I also consider the rush job on the vax and how Pres Trump is still advocating for them. It's not something he would ever want to do, but given the circumstances it might be an undesirable but necessary part of the plan. Obvious speculation on my part. But all this is just speculation and seeing how things play out.

Exactly this. They're giving mixed messages. Earlier this week, they were pointing fingers. I'm guessing this may have been set up this way to crank the heat up on this fraudulent Biden administration.
