First post and been following for many months now. Just and awesome site!!!!

Looking for help with NY Law or anything that I can bring to School Board/Superintendent that contradicts the 'authority' they think they have to mandate masks in school in NY.

Como already put into place no virtual learning before he leaves, so we are prepared for on-line school for our 14 year-old daughter. Such a travesty as she was home for the last year and a half on virtual learning and was so excited to go back to 'normal' in September. Then she gets an email from the school (we as parents did not receive this) today that mask mandates will be in place. She is crushed, but stands by her decision to not wear a mask....that is also our position, so we didn't have to argue that with her.

We are very AWAKE and know what the DS is trying to do and others as well and now in upstate rural NY just below Albany we continue to have it shoved in our face (pun intended). Have three girls (27,24 &14) that get where we are but still not easy.

Also looking to see if there is group in NY to help fight this.

Just found out through an email send ONLY to my 14 year-old daughter that upstate NY School District in County that goes RED all of the time has told her that masks are required. She already did virtual learning for the last year and one-half and was so looking forward to going back (for her music, play, art, "education" and friends). She has already told us she does not want to wear a mask, but does not want to go back and try to be in the minority fighting this. We were ready for this and had already aligned ourselves with a great on-line schooling, but that is not the case. She'll go there and the school will lose funding for being down one student.

Can anyone provide NYS Law, excerpts regarding how this is unconstitutional, against our liberties, etc. We need to stand up to this even though my daughter may not go back, we need to fight harder than ever. Thank you!!!!
