I've noticed the last couple of days that soccer fans coming to the World cup here have been absolutely in awe of the United States, how friendly we are, the culture, the food, etc.

Anyway, aside from the high prices of everything, its it possible having the United States on the global stage is an opportunity for us to tell the world "This is what freedom can look like if you want it that badly"? An opportunity for people to come back and tell their leaders "We experienced what America was like and we want that, not whatever bullshit you're selling"

So with Trump endorsing Bruce Blakeman in the gubernatorial race, I've been wondering how bad it will likely get with Mamdani in place, especially with the whole housing seizure plan in place. Is Blakeman winning part of the plan, or will Mamdani be allowed to let New York fail catastrophically and be overtaken by both communism and Islamism? My hope is that a year of Mamdani's radicalism is enough to wake the moderates who voted for him up and say "We fucked up" but the pessimist in me says that Mamdani will never leave Gracie Mansion and New York will wither and die. I guess the question is how much of a stronghold will the DSA get before it gets eradicated at the root?
