I am currently watching a YouTube video of an analysis of "Under the Silver Lake" and it is very engaging with its overt symbolism and soft disclosure of Hollywood elite practices.

I was wondering if anyone else had recommendations, either for movies with blatant coding and symbolism or for documentaries exploring said movies.

I'm looking more for videos rather than articles/blogs. While I appreciate Decoding Symbols on WordPress, it is often too dense and scattershot for me to follow.

I’ve been here a while, and that video of a Bill Wood talking about Project Looking Glass has been shared probably once or twice a month for a year or two.

Now. NOW. All of the sudden, he’s a covert child predator and GAW is flooded with claims and accusations on impropriety with no more than “just trust me.”

Those who came to this conclusion: please cite your sources. I want to make sure this is legitimate. Do we know known aliases? Do we have records?

Just a little bizarre that the video was one of the more shared on this board, and a year or two later it’s written off within three days. I know that’s how evidence works when new info comes out. But all I’ve seen are posters just SAY he’s a charlatan and not give any EVIDENCE.

I am not saying discussion of this stuff is off the table. I am saying it is a huge distraction, and supporting any one of these public media figures comes with a risk.

Kyle goes on his first interview and drops some very flagrant statements designed to interest/instigate. Lin is mentioned negatively.

After, a reporter reaches Lin for comment, the story steamrolls, and now we have a Lin/Kyle jampacked GAW. MTG and Flynn are brought in to discussion because of the Lin animosity. Look at that: all the support players on our side don’t get along. BETTER PICK A SIDE /s.

Fuck this. It’s noise. Kyle’s trial is over, and now it’s the media tour. The media that is designed to incite and divide. An interview where the kid everyone is rooting for suddenly is for a divisive movement not aligned with his supporters, and then criticizes a figure involved with his supporters.

Now we have “Fuck Kyle/Fuck Lin” teams all nice and neatly divided on here.

FUCK EM ALL. I could give two fucks about the kid now. Glad he’s free, and I hope he gets some recompense. Why any of us is taking any mainstream media seriously/at face value is beyond me.

It’s noise. How about them audits? What’s going on with Evergrande? Slovenia sounds interesting.

Don’t be distracted. Don’t be divided. We know nothing for certain about any public figures.

JAQing off is “just asking questions”, but usually the questions do nothing to promote discussion or drive conversation forward.

I notice these occasionally pop up, and while it is good to discuss events that happen (positive or negative), these posts seem to start from a place of hopelessness. Not conducive to positive conversation.

And the “It’s too much and I need a break” posts.

People. I love you.

None of us are rockstars, ok? It’s awfully self-indulgent and self-important to post that you need to take a break from it all.

Just go. If you know people on the board, DM them privately and let them know. But I can’t help but view these posts as a waste of time and energy. Not to mention, it just signals shills and trolls to pile in and exacerbate the negativity.

Imagine you’re at a party, and someone just gets up and loudly says “I HAVE TO GO, I CAN’T BE HERE ANYMORE FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH.”

On the one hand, you’d be glad the person took charge and is doing something about their issue.

On the other, now the party has a weird awkward moment, and you’d look at your friends and ask, “Why didn’t he just leave?”

EDIT: u/Iceman80 brings up good points about discussion and positively guiding new users. While I will agree with the points that discussion should be had regardless, I still find posts of leaving to be ultimately fruitless.

Well, I finally got the courage to pack up my car and head down to the FL Keys by the end of the week. I don’t have much except a place to stay, but I am excited.

The last two weeks has been uneasy in terms of saying goodbyes and getting concern-brigaded by those in my life still asleep. Because I’m heading to the supposed coof capital of the U.S. and I did not get any shots.

Yeah, I suppose the Keys are more dangerous, despite the knowledge that, until now, I lived next door to O’Hare airport (one of the largest revolving doors for travel) and Chicago. Eyeroll.

Even with their website numbers, the county I am moving to is barely a blip compared to Crook Co. These conversations have only strengthed my resolve that I am doing what’s best for me. I’m so sick of having to defend myself, and sick of fact-regurgitators treating me like a child incapable of critical thought.

Anyway. So long, IL. Besides a handful of people, and one burger joint, I will not miss you.

Any FL people, any suggestions for communities/churches/volunteer work in Monroe Co? I’ll be pounding the pavement starting next week.

Have a great weekend, stay safe, get out of IL if you’re still here!

1.) Poisoning the forum with multiple lunatic posts of useless unsourced memes and comments replied to with nonsensical lateral though rambling like a stereotypical “conspiracy theorist”…

2.) Now multiple accounts are posting a new Q drop despite no tripcode, no signature, different style of posting, and that fact of NO OUTSIDE COMMS.

Clearly trying to derail this place over the holiday weekend. Report, downvote, VERIFY. TRUST is gained when sources are given and replies are met with cogent thought.

What started my journey

I was down the rabbit hole of parasites and health, when I stumbled upon some videos detailing a book called the Secrets of Underground Medicine. The website associated with it is naturalhealthresponse.com and the videos seem quite compelling. I am still researching.

I just wanted to ask the community if anyone else has heard of the website/book, and their experience with it. A quick search didn't yield any results on here. I've been looking for alternative sources for health/exercise, and I was intrigued by the premise of this website and book. Those involved with it seem to be on the up-and-up.

A problem I have, being a skeptic, is how pants-shittingly difficult it is to sign up for a subscription/get a copy of the book through their website. (It is available elsewhere, but increased in price and on Amazon which I am trying to avoid.) Usually, to me, that spells scam or some other nefarious tactic. But, searching for truthful accounts has bore no real fruit. Emails are directly led to spam, and their phone number is constantly busy. Now, those could be due to many things: DS controlling internet info flow, poor company management, poor web designer, scam op, etc.

I'm a very paranoid individual, and have been looking for better sources of health information since I woke up. I just want to be sure this has some credibility, and also wanted to relay the info here.

Thanks for your time, and have a pleasant week. WWG1WGA
