I suspect some of President Trump's people occasionally scan this board and I'm hoping to get some clarification on something I stumbled across last night.

I was watching a documentary on the assassination of President Lincoln and something they said about military tribunals caused me to do an internet search.

I came across a Supreme court decision called ex parte Milligan. I really tried to find out the answers to my questions without bothering anyone but the internet information was a bit unclear.

BUT...as near as I could determine -- when the Supreme court makes a decision that decision stays as legal precedent unless a future Supreme Court reverses the decision.

I could find no verification online that ex parte Milligan has been reversed. My question is -- where does that leave us in the here and now? For several years, people have been counting on military tribunals to step in and save the day. If I read ex parte Milligan correctly and it has not been reversed -- this concept of military tribunals dealing with these criminals is impossible. Am I mistaken?

Will someone clarify as I would never have thought my interest in history would have dug up something so...I think I want to say disappointing. I believe a lot of people are counting on military tribunals because the court system is so corrupt.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and hopefully an answer to my questions.

I just wanted to comment on the various news articles which, praised President Trump for taking care of Mrs. Trump during the last shooting incident. Normally, the press gives him credit for nothing. This time, however, I read several articles praising President Trump for shielding his wife during the attack and comforting her afterwards.

I am not surprised he did that. I always knew he was a true gentleman. What surprised me was that the press finally admitted it!

If Obama and Biden are proven to be illegitimate Presidents can all the migrants they let in be deported because they never had the authority to let them in in the first place?

I'm talking about the ones designated "legal" that seem to have difficulty assimilating and realizing the constitution is incompatible with Sharia law.

Is it possible for the moderators to have an updating stickied post of all the confirmed people mentioned in the Epstein files who have been participants in his activities? It's hard to keep track and remember all of them mentioned and I think it's important to do so. I would not want to inadvertantly support some entertainment figure, business person, politician, or others who had anything to do with Epstein's activities.

Thank you for your consideration.

I was just watching another video on YouTube in which, leftists were using cars to follow and impede ICE agents as they carry out their duty.

My question is -- since harrassing the agents is a crime and these people are using their cars to facilitate their harrassment -- why don't they give the agents the authority to impound the car?

I imagine the government can buy a few tow trucks or cut a deal with garages who own them. The government could easily afford to lease a piece of land to store these seized cars until the owners pay the fines to collect them.

And after deducting the amount paid for tow trucks and the land, whatever profit is left could go towards offsetting the cost of deporting the illegal aliens.

I suspect being without their mode of transportation for whatever length of time it took to pay the fine would definitely discourage any further automobile related harrassment.

Just a thought --

I really don't understand everything about the situation in Venezuela regarding the drug cartels. But I want to know if the capture of this man will improve the situation throughout all of South America, and Mexico.

I have a friend in Mexico who claims that people can't safely walk outside of their homes because the cartels are always shooting at one another. It would be nice if the arrest of this drug kingpin will improve things all over.

Will it? I genuinely don't know how far a reach this man had.

With all the talk of requiring voter I.D. -- it seems to me nobody has given much thought as to what kind of I.D. should be required.

I personally think there should be a United States Citizen photo I.D. (newly designed). It should have some kind of hologram or chip in it so that it can't be dupicated by anyone other than the federal government (the same as currency). Mr. Musk should be put in charge of designing some kind of progam to keep track of the identity cards. Upon death the cards should be surrendered to funeral directors who by law would be required to return them back to the government so that nobody else would be able to use them. That or have some sort of chip in them so that when a person dies the card becomes reported inactive.

Letting people use any driver's license is asking for trouble and more fraud. If they do voter I. D. then do it right.

I was wondering if anyone here knows the following information. I'm originally from Chicago (now living in a suburb) but I have a real interest in what's happening with the ICE situation.

These antifa people that are attacking the agents -- are they actually from Chicago and the suburbs or are they being sent here from elsewhere to cause trouble?

I'm curious as to the average age of these people. The reason is that one of the "Weathermen" used to live in Chicago (Hyde Park area). I seem to remember he taught at one of the universities. This guy was extremely radical.

I am curious as to whether these antifa people are his students. One has to believe that he poisoned the minds of countless young people who passed through his classroom. So I'm wondering if this chaos is his "legacy". He's in New York now I think. And don't quote me on this but I seem to remember he had ties with Obama.

That's another reason the location of that Obama library is "interesting". It's not that far from Hyde Park where this guy used to live. I don't personally believe such an influence simply disappears without a trace. They really need to take a good look at that "library" since they're in Chicago anyway.

Third, the videos are confusing to me. Who us putting off the smoke bombs? ICE or antifa? I found that confusing. I could think of several reasons either side could be doing it.

Fourth, none of my business I know -- but is it really safe to let reporters wander around? Any civilians should be accompanied by armed guards for obvious reasons. If they don't have to get permission to be there -- then perhaps it should be a new rule.

I have long suspected that either President Trump (or his close associates) read this board.

Please let him know that both he and Mrs. Kirk are being libeled on Tik Tok. The account is: _scrollstoppers

I do not want to repeat what was said because it is very damaging to both parties. I am not sure what can be done about this because in one video the word "allegedly" is used -- but not in the other. Perhaps a cease and desist from a legal team?

I am quite sure someone from President Trump's staff reads this board -- so I would like to suggest that a committee be set up to investigate airlines. Recently, there have been so many news stories of plane incidents of near disaster due to safety issues. Something is obviously very wrong somewhere.

This news story I came upon today simply boggles the mind! Please have the president look into what is going on before people get killed. Planes are falling apart and these companies are putting them up in the air with people in them.

I have no interest in football.

I can't believe I am watching this thing eagerly awaiting Elon's commercials. Life is really interesting these days.

If anyone from President Trump's team reads this board, could someone look into what's going on with the postal service?

We're getting mail delivered as late as midnight some days. Sometimes they won't bother showing up for several days and then you'll get everything stuffed into the box when they finally do show up.

The mail has been getting progressively worse for years. But lately, it's really awful. Who delivers mail at midnight???

I don't know how to phrase this without people becoming angry...BUT.... some of President Trump's freezes will inadvertantly (at least I hope it's inadvertantly) cause some issues with a handicapped children's home at which, I've done some volunteer work.

I can't say I totally understand the implications of what Medicaid freezes will do to the care allotted these children.

However-- this is a bit different than crooked politicians stuffing their pockets with cash to buy another yacht somewhere. These kids are in bad shape. Some worse than others.

By all means cut the gravy train to the Ukraine and the politician's.pockets. But these kids are citizens too -- even though they aren't even aware they are -- so maybe President Trump could take a look at this kind of thing and see to it that they don't get hurt while the real trash is being taken out?

I'm only posting this because it will slip my mind by tomorrow although the content is horridly inappropriate for Christmas Day. For that, I apologize.

I came across a Tik-Tok video wherein some confused lady was asking people to watch another video and explain it to her because she couldn't understand it. Know the old saying, "curiousity killed the cat"?

Well -- like an idiot I Googled "Kim Kardashian Santa baby" to find out why this woman was so confused. I think this is some Santanic deep state stuff. Maybe with some sex trafficking references thrown in? Why it is on YouTube where kids could see it is beyond me. It's completely revolting.

27

Since the Christmas season is quickly approaching I thought I'd put up a holiday "wish list" of what I would like President Trump to fix when he resumes office.

I encourage everyone to add to it. Hopefully someone in the administration will see it. We all have things we would like to happen and perhaps we have ideas that haven't been considered yet.

My wish is for President Trump to do something about the insurance industry. My husband is a retired physician -- so he no longer has a reason to want a change in this area other than he felt for many years that these people interferred with his patient care.

The AMA advises the government but all of those doctors are academics and don't actually see patients on a regular basis. They regulate how long they think a patient should be hospitalized after surgery. More often than not the actual practicing doctors are pressured to push sick people out of the hospital because the days allotted by the insurance companies (as advised by the academics are too short).

President Trump needs to get rid of this nonsense of letting academics make decisions. He needs to take consultations on these issues from doctors who actually take care of people. It's a different ballgame when you actually have sick people to care for.

Not only that but the fees that the insurance companies charge for malpractice insurance are astronomical. A doctor has to work several months just to meet the overhead of the cost of insurance. That's part of the reason everything costs so much. Nurses pay malpractice insurance too. So does every health care provider and each hospital. That's a lot of money being generated having absolutely nothing to do with curing anyone but it is reflected in the patient's final bill.

I won't even go into tort reform which should have happened long ago. I wholeheartedly believe that incompetent doctors should be sued. But its become an ambulance chasing circus where they try to grab as many personnel in a net even if they had nothing whatsoever to do with the actual incident. This is the problem. This is what drives up patient costs.

Another unrelated issue -- did you know autistic people (severe end of the spectrum) can't get life insurance? I wonder how many other severely disabled people are denied life insurance too. I tell you those insurance companies need to be put under a microscope ASAP.

My husband wasn't just a good doc. He was a great doc. I could show you letter upon letter from grateful people thanking him for saving their lives. People actually cried in the office when he informed them he was retiring. They begged him to stay but he was getting older and it was time for him to leave.

i often tell him that he should write President Trump and tell him what life is really like in the trenches of the medical profession. So that the President will know what people really need. But he just laughs and tells me that the AMA is all political and they're all academics. Nobody ever listens to the real docs.

Anyhow that is my wish. That President Trump goes after those pirates in the insurance industry and gets "real docs" to fix the medical system in our country.

I was just watching a video wherein a affluent liberal dad was asking AITAH for cutting off college tuition and room and board for his two sons because they voted for Trump.

Naturally, every liberal responded he had "done the right thing" and was a "great dad" for "teaching his kids a valuable lesson".

If this is true (let's assume for a moment that it is) -- I am curious about the following issue:

When a woman divorces a wealthy man she receives alimony because she has "grown accustomed to a lifestyle". (Let's not get sidetracked into a discussion about whether or not alimony is justified, okay?)

I am curious then -- as to whether these two sons (who have grown accustomed to a lifestyle of having their tuition and room and board paid by dad) would have cause to bring legal action because they have been cut off of funding due to their choice to vote for Trump.

How different is it really? Both cases involve being cut off from funding due to an inability to "get along".

Just throwing it out there in case this idea spreads. Many young people voted for Trump.

i suppose it's minor considering some of the other things the left has done. Still it bothers me that this guy really skated on these charges. Somebody please put cleaning up corruption in Illinois on the "to do" list.

Question 🐸 BASED RUDY 🐸
posted ago by Debutante ago by Debutante

Did I miss something? What is being done for Rudy Giuliani? I just read this ghastly article about how they are confiscating this elderly man's refrigerator! The comments following the artcle were filled with gleeful liberals chortling over the fact that Rudy has been "abandoned once he was no longer of use to Trump" and all sorts of other horrid things.

What is being done for this man?

Why is there such an extended period of time between a Presidential election and when the President-elect takes office? It seems to me this time period allows for all kinds of shenanigans -- from shredding documents, pushing through judical appointments for the losing side, and having Senate leadership positions filled before new senators arrive to take their positions.

How did this practice of a large gap of time get started? Who started it? Is it an actual legal thing or just a convention?

17

Is there any law that states President Trump has to be inagurated in D.C.? The Democrats are so insane that I think he would be walking into a lion's den if he goes there. He'd be safer picking another location for his inaguration (if he is allowed to) and then sending the military into D.C. to clean out that cesspool before he even sets foot in there.

I don't trust the Democrats. Maybe I am just paranoid but I want him to be safe.
