Burke's quote is about political apathy. Arguably the reason the reason things are the way they are is because of general public apathy which allowed corrupt politicians over decades to corrupting all establishments i.e Deep State
How do you stop public apathy? If Trump just won the election then in another 4 years things would go back to how they were before. They need to see how bad things are. By showing them how corrupt everything is you wake people up.
What we are seeing right now is what happens when good men do nothing. People are waking up all over. This is how you get people stepping up after Trump, it’s not just about voter id or insurrection act.
Sorry if this is common sense to everyone here, but I just had epiphany and don’t have anyone irl I can share it with.
