Okay so I have a few rental properties. One of which is for a restaurant space in a small town in Georgia. I was looking to rent it to this guy who is part owner of another restaurant in another nearby small town. He is more like an investor than an actual restaurateur. His full time job is working in human trafficking with the feds. He showed me his badge and talked about how the cops in the town where his first restaurant is love him because he doesn’t allow the drunk shit. Well, he came to my property and was really excited about it. He was talking about putting in billiards, darts, a roof top deck, etc. His partner came out and he thought it was a great location and a great opportunity (there is no other place that serve beer in this town). We talked a lot about the lease, the build out, (the small town mayor even said they would even allow open comtainers in the town square if we opened the bar!) etc. So everything’s going great. But then nothing. I called him up after a couple of weeks and asked what happened? You were so gung ho! He replied, he has never been so busy in his life with his main job, Which deals with human trafficking! He said he hadn’t even had time to take a shit! He was still interested in the space but he had no idea when he would have some free time. He said he was traveling all over the state and taking care of “things”. He said he hadn’t been home for days because of this.

Make of this what you will but from my point of view, things are very much habbening!
