There are some interesting parallels but overall I'd resist the temptation to compare our situation to Myanmar. Its a very different people with a very different history and government. They only just escaped military rule recently. Im not convinced either side is particularly good. The military has a history of repression and may seek the backing of the chinese. Suu kyi has been sucking up to globalists. Both are organizations from a poor and inconsequential country and need to find allies where thry can.

Compare this to the US, s world leader where military rule is just a temporary measure in dire circumstances.
