Firstly, I don't know what device that image file is from. I don't even know if it's real, obviously there is a degree of trust here. Lastly, I do not have these image files myself to look at nor have I looked at them.

I'm basing this post on what I have read from NoNameJames post here

With that out of the way ... Of the image files floating around here now there has been a log file that should be a bit of a red flag. And that is a log file for Microsoft IIS. (..inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1)

Why is Microsoft IIS on that image? Why is Microsoft IIS even installed on anything related to elections.

Microsoft IIS is a web server software package. It has to be installed.

  • Did some one intentionally install a web server on election hardware? And what would the reason be exactly?

  • The logs indicate access over port 80, a common and default web traffic port. Best practices for non-public internal use to use a random non-common port and if public facing to use port 80 for HTTP and port 443 for HTTPS.

This log file is suggesting some one or some thing had accessed a web server on this machine over unencrypted http port 80. Yikes !

Please help me understand reasons why Microsoft IIS would need to be on this machine. I can only think of some kind of (hopefully) internal LAN only access to be able to manage it from a central location. Thank you

We all have seen the video of President Trump showing off the red folder. Other clips from that behind the sceenes staging area show that every one was just standing around chatting and watching monitors like they were waiting for something.

We all know the rally started late.

In the timeline the media is reporting regarding the events that took place at the Capitol building, it would have been impossible for people at the rally to be at the Capitol in time for what happened there.

It just felt like they were trying to slow down the rally by starting late and being slow to get on stage.
