In July 2019 Trump bashed Bitcoin and crypto—called them "not money," super volatile, and basically a tool for stuff like drug trafficking.

Back then, I remember a lot of people on forums (like this one, VOAT, reddit great awakening and The Donald) were also pretty anti-Bitcoin, like Trump was. But now, Trump’s all in on Bitcoin. What happened between 2019 and 2024 to make him flip? No way "Barron educated him" like I've heard people speculate.
I’m a fan of blockchain tech, crypto, and decentralization. But the crypto space feels sketchy with all the centralized exchanges, wrapped tokens, etc—similar to stock market corruption. The whole "Satoshi Nakamoto" story always seemed fishy to me. Bitcoin was used early on for drug and human trafficking. If that’s true, I would guess the cabal had a hand in creating it. Why would they use it if they didn’t have some control or at least believe it wouldn't expose them. Or did they not use and that's a BS story?
Bitcoin crowd is constantly hyping, spreading FOMO, or attacking anyone who disagrees. Feels like people are just buying Bitcoin because they think the price is gonna moon, not because of the tech or issues with previous currencies, stores of value or market manipulation. Bitcoin’s been around for 15 years, shouldn’t people be adopting a more advanced blockchain tech out there with more transparency, faster transaction speeds, lower costs, and more secure?
I’m a fan of the GameStop movement and $djt. They’re about fighting corrupt systems and exposing Market Makers using paper to manipulate prices. GME and DJT are now adding BTC to their balance sheet. Why would they add assets that also corrupted? Or am i wrong to assume btc is corrupted and manipulated by market makers? I'm genuinely trying to understand, what changed Trump’s position?
