I am fairly new here and am trying to understand the site. The headline states that this is a 'Weekly Discussion Thread' until March 21st and yet there seem to be only six comments for today. Is that possibly correct?
Am still fighting tears. What a brave and stalwart man. It is wondered how many of us fulfill the purpose for which God places us on this earth. Rush discovered and embraced his purpose and lived it every day of his life. It is nice to imagine a large group of angels swooping down to quickly lift Rush into Heaven where he is greeted by a joyful soft chorus and a smiling God, who is beckoning him over with wide open arms. Rest in peace, dearest Rush.
Harsh statement re McConnell but every word is true. McConnell made, on the Senate floor, a lengthy speech full of lies about President Trump, about what happened on Jan. 6, and about Pres. Trump's involvement in it. McConnell is a liar and a cheat and Pres. Trump was actually generous in his comments about him. President Trump is missed so much by even more than the people who loved and voted for him. There have to be moderate Democrats out there who look at Joe Biden and think, "what have we done....".
There is a vast difference between, "That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court" and the fact that all courts refused to hear the evidence. Why is Sen, Cruz parroting the Democrats' misrepresentations of the events of January 6 and the election fraud? Why is he speaking out against President Trump now? I was slowly beginning to trust him - I was wrong.
