"anon" is a 4chan/8chan term referring to how all posters are, by default, anonymous. Your posts are not linked to a permanent username on those imageboards. Some other -chans use a different default name (for example, Krautchan uses "Berndt" instead of anonymous).
By definition, we here on .win are not anons. We have usernames and our posts under that username are visible.
Q Clearance Patriot was the tripcode for an anon. Like other leakers on 4chan, such as FBIanon, CIAanon and WHanon, anons referred to him as "Qanon." Much later, he became well known enough to be referred to as just Q, but it is silly to pretend that nobody has ever known him as QAnon.
Guys, we aren't 4chan. We don't need to larp as anons and try to doublethink away the name QAnon.
