Utah was settled by refugees fleeing religious persecution. We understand the pain caused by forced migration and appreciate the contributions of refugees in our communities. Today we sent a letter to @POTUS expressing our desire in helping those who are fleeing Afghanistan. (twitter.com)

Colorado stands ready to provide safety and opportunity to Afghan refugees. Today I sent this letter to @POTUS letting him know that our state is willing and able to do whatever we need to do to help Afghans who played a vital role in assisting the U.S. military overseas. (twitter.com)
