It is time to take back our country and make America great again. Not military. Posse Comitatus does not allow the use of the military for law enforcement unless they are: under control of a state governor, or there is an act of Congress, or POTUS invokes the Insurrection Act.
These are federally deputized NG...which means there was either an act of Congress or Trump invoked the Insurrection Act
National Guard can be used for domestic law enforcement under 3 exceptions: 1) under control of the state governor, 2) from an act of congress, or 3) invocation by the President of the Insurrection Act.
These Guardsmen are under US Marshall (federal) control, so we know that exception #1 is not at play here.
I know of no recent Act of Congress calling for NG to by deputized.
That leaves exception #3.
