Just started having massive issues with DNS resolution. Some sites were working fine, most were not. I seem to be able to get back on to everything now, about 7 minutes later. Anyone else having issues tonight? Storm inbound?

I see a lot of people who are very forcefully against doing anything about the student debt situation but making the students pay it all off. I get that. But consider also that giving an 18 year old enough debt to buy a house might not be a good idea either, especially when you consider the total lack of financial training in the K-12 indoctrination centers. I also think people should wait until 25 to even consider gender transitions, for the record.
Really it makes no sense. Can you find a bank that would give an 18 year old a $130k business startup loan based on "I think I know what I want to do?" I can't.
how about this: End ALL government student loan guarantees. Make student debt dischargeable in bankruptcy. Let private lenders choose to (or more likely not to) take on that risk.
In other words: End all student debt, and also all government-guaranteed student loans.

Utah allows public school teachers with a license to carry, to carry in the classroom. There has not been a single death in a school shooting in Utah. Let teachers protect children. It works.
Better yet, don't send your children to government schools.
