As much as the rest of the world relies on China, China needs the rest of the world more. Without the raw materials and demand, the economy will collapse. This is even more obvious now with the China virus scare and floods/locusts/early snow which caused the domestic food supply in China to be a little frisky right now. Not only that, because of the aforementioned virus scare, tons of factory lines are closed which includes huge logistics companies. A huge bank also just recently folded in China.

I mentioned raw materials just now, and the most recent case where they sanctioned Australia as payback for asking for an virus audit last year is doing greater damage on their own country. Without coal from Australia, power outages rapidly rise across the country, with officials demanding businesses save electricity by cutting heaters in offices only to be used when absolute cold.
This also includes the little skirmishes they had with India last year which now they are importing food from.

Nuclear Warfare. This is out of my realm of understanding and I feel anything I would say would only weaken my argument. But, I do have to say, just recently, one of their new ships supposedly able to rival the US was christened by a huge fire onboard.
Of course China has its space program, and it seems quite successful? All I can answer to that is if there will be a nuclear warfare, the mad doctrine will take into effect and there will be nothing left in both countries maybe even more.
I can say with absolute clarity if Trump gets back into office, China will kowtow to him. No joke.
