Just a thought, but maybe part of why they are pushing bugs and fake meat as food is that farming real food and real meat in giant quantities is a trade or skill, and not something just anyone can do.
In the future envisioned for us by our deep state overlords, we are all barely thinking fools whose brains are mush from all of the "vaccine" shots, hormone blockers, and bottom surgeries. People like that are no good as farmers.
Anyone intelligent enough to have a skill or trade will be the type to fight back against this type of world. The skilled and/intelligent will be among the first lined up against the wall for firing squads if the maniacs get their way.
That leaves us with a much smaller population, but they are all weak, brainwashed fools.
So how do we keep the remnants of the broken human race fed? One option: Factory farming bugs and fake meat, simpler processes than farming that your average purple haired lunatic can manage. Ideally, get everyone on board early for smooth transition.
Then, Stick a bug factory in the few remaining cities and you don't even need long distance truckers. Just a bunch of assembly line type roles and local drivers, jobs that these leftist cult members can do and remained brainwashed.
Just like that, food production for your planned NWO is locked in.
A quick Google search shows 75% of chips are made in Taiwan. Now the leaches that think they are elites pushing a bill to jumpstart US chip production, just as China is heavily salivating about scooping up Taiwan?
Sounds like it's being served up on a platter. Get rid of any reliance the US or the world has on Taiwan, and a lot of other countries become a lot less invested in it's Future.
I may be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was a compromise they (globalists/China) all made. The US gets to be the new chip producer, in exchange we don't push back when China launches their offensive. Other countries get good deals on chips and back off too.
