So, as people awaken they ask themselves “what can I do?” If they're sheep they will probably still cower, but the Patriots will own their duty as “we the people” to prepare and take appropriate responsibility and protection of their unalienable Rights.

Realize that the Sheriff is ultimately responsible for what occurs in their jurisdiction. The Sheriff (Shire-reeve) in every county, parish or borough throughout the U.S. is elected (with very few exceptions) and also the top Law Enforcement Official. Chiefs of Police are politically appointed by and serve at the pleasure of city councils, thus they are subservient.

2022 is an election year which means primaries followed by a runoff in November. Take the time to research the accomplishments of your incumbent Sheriff and the platforms of the challengers. Rhetoric aside, which candidate is most fundamentally based in the principals of the U.S. Constitution and your State Constitution? Is the candidate a Veteran?

There are almost 3,100 Sheriff's Departments across the nation. Will there be a Sheriff that emerges as the “Sheriff of We the People?”

BTW, the California Government Code Section 26602 says The sheriff shall prevent and suppress any affrays, breaches of the peace, riots, and insurrections that come to his or her knowledge, and investigate public offenses which have been committed. The sheriff may execute all orders of the local health officer issued for the purpose of preventing the spread of any contagious or communicable disease.

What are the duties of the Sheriff in your state? Do you know where the closest Sheriff's Station to you is located?

Perhaps Patriots should consider obtaining a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit. Check with your local sheriff's department website for information.
