Most of the EV's have heating pumps nowadays, assuming that one will work without issues for the entire lifespan of the car. Best case scenario will be like leaving a gas/diesel car idling 24x7 in terms of energy/fuel consumption. I.e not very cheap, and a huge waste of energy.
I'll keep my old gas car, it'll cold start just fine down to -20C.
