Born in Romania in 1986. I don’t remember communism but the stories shaped me to view authority with a skeptic’s eye.

The first big “boom” for me was Ron Paul being labeled an “isolationist” and the media and Republican Party holding hands to negate his efforts.

Came to the US in 1999 and when I paid attention to politics it felt like the general consensus was people were tired of the cookie cutter politics/politicians. Here was a candidate with different ideas and all of a sudden those same people were drinking the media kool-aid that Ron Paul was too radical.
