Figured it was the easiest way of ensuring the area ISP has high upload rates. With Covid more companies are doing their shows / events virtually rather than in person; having the download and upload speed of (consumer level) fiber would ensure I can ingest content from all around, spit it back out and add as little latency as possible. 100MB/s upload at a minimum would be ideal currently but fiber availability would mainly be future proofing / peace of mind.

The first big “boom” for me was Ron Paul being labeled an “isolationist” and the media and Republican Party holding hands to negate his efforts.
Came to the US in 1999 and when I paid attention to politics it felt like the general consensus was people were tired of the cookie cutter politics/politicians. Here was a candidate with different ideas and all of a sudden those same people were drinking the media kool-aid that Ron Paul was too radical.
