So this is just a general whinge about the state of the world and how every interface with technology is broken.
- I buy a replacement phone.
- I open it up the box and look at the instruction manual (I know already I'm the territory of having to hand back my man card - real men DO NOT read the instructions)
- First thing the instruction manual say is "Refer to the onscreen instructions on your device to configure it"
- I turn the phone on, the first instruction on the device is "Refer to the instructions that were provided with your device"
- I look back at the instructions and it gives a URL for more information on their website (ie a user guide)
- I go to my laptop, enter the URL and get a 404 "page cannot be found" error.
The absolute fucking state of it all.
Still at least I can come here and be "virtually" among the last few sane people on the planet. Love you all.
So why did the word change in Wordle today?
I won't give any hints to avoid spoiling the experience for any still to solve it - but my wife did Wordle just before 7am NZ time (1pm EST) and she solved it for one word.
I did it just after 8am NZ time (2pm EST) and I got a different word. Both were totally valid and common words (in the past NYT has admitted to changing words mid way through the day when the find that the first word is not a valid word).
My wordle says it's 15 hrs 20 mins to the next puzzle - I will post the word my wife solved it for and the one I solved it for when the next puzzle appears for the pedes to analyse.
