To tell children they should feel some sort of shame based on their ethnicity is beyond abuse imho. I have 2 children who have fallen victim through social engagement in public schools, for being white. I have taught my children repeatedly they're not responsible for any actions prior to birth and never need to feel ashamed somehow based upon their color of skin. I can't even begin to explain how much trouble the race baiting has caused in just my small town, it's been incredibly difficult to focus on raising my children to be morally and ethically motivated to be honest and compassionate. This past year with covid has been the worst year considering school. I have found the red line as far as public education is concerned and have refused to participate in such efforts to emotionally abuse my children any further. Greivences have been made clear to the public education department.

Candace Owens has a lot of knowledge to contribute to young black Americans who are suffering from the indoctrination of public schools, I see so many downtrodden by the victim mentality and social constraints of their time. They have been objectified, confused and betrayed by so called leaders who repeatedly tell them they can't be this or that, don't strive to do well because the government owes you... Many of their families beat this illogical ideal into them from young ages. Humans need a sense of purpose to thrive, erase their purpose and tell them they can't do anything else is abuse of the worst kind. Take away a sense of purpose and life becomes empty.

With all due respect Armylady, JohnnyMagnum357 is totally correct. Southerners are deeply offended by this notion that our ancestors fought a war on the premise of slavery. Those of us who had families who were around for the civil war know exactly what Southerners felt so compelled to fight for, and slavery had nothing to do with it. This is the reason why elders are so important, you can rewrite history and change narratives but you can't change facts told through generations with many who can and will corroborate these stories based on principles you know in your heart to be truth. I have been guilty of peddling the propaganda history taught in schools unaware of the misinformation and blatant lies written in my history books. Luckily I spent many summers with my Grandfather, wisest man I ever met, who taught real history and the dangers one may fall into by watching the one eyed devil (television) instead of having engaging conversations with people to discover that they are full of wisdom from their years of life. Great discussions would have been lost to time otherwise.
