Here's a little background for this post. I'm a lifelong Catholic. In our church services, we always have a few passages read from the Bible. It is almost always two from the Old Testament, and one from the Gospels.
What has amazed me for years is how these random Bible passages always seem to feel like they were picked out especially for what I'm going through my life at that particular point in time. I'm sure a lot of people in a lot of different situations probably feel the same way, so maybe that's just the beauty of God's Word.
Anyway, I couldn't help but have a big smile on my face thinking about our REAL president (and all of you great people) when the first passage was read.
It read as follows:
Isaiah 22:19-23 New International Version
19 I will depose you from your office, and you will be ousted from your position.
20 In that day I will summon my servant, Eliakim son of Hilkiah.
21 I will clothe him with your robe and fasten your sash around him and hand your authority over to him. He will be a father to those who live in Jerusalem and to the people of Judah.
22 I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
23 I will drive him like a peg into a firm place; he will become a seat of honor for the house of his father.

Did the 9/11 terrorists have help from our government? I've always thought so.
