My wife saw a news report today that said some areas may go years before the power comes back. Of course they said it like that is perfectly normal without digging any deeper into why it may take years.

When I search Home Depot’s website for a 200 amp meter base, shows out of stock. Doesn’t seem to matter what location I search it shows the same. Lowes too. I had to drive to three different stores today to find drywall mud. Maybe your town is different than the rest of the country. Can you get chips for new trucks too? Lol (kidding)

I checked online after my conversation at the supply house. They are unavailable everywhere.

The breakers inside your house are getting really difficult to find too. So are the pluming and electrical components made from pvc, like electrical boxes inside the walls.

Gotta get the raw materials from somewhere. To many regulations in place that prevent most plastics and resins from being made locally.

You mix this already tight supply with several thousand homes across the Midwest being destroyed by storms and it will all break down soon.

I don’t know if the transformer itself comes from China but I can guarantee the materials to make them do.

They knew a vaccine mandate would never work. Businesses won’t comply before they let their entire workforce walk off the job. There isn’t even an actual law to challenge in court. They’ll believe it till the very end. I saw someone call Trump a Russian agent just yesterday in a comment. Anyone believing anything on the news is not going to wake up at this point.

I am aware of that but that isn’t stopping cities and businesses from enforcing “it”. A press conference on the news seems to be all that’s required for a “law” these days.

Even things made in the USA depend on raw materials from other countries. All the plastics and resins used in just about everything, can’t be produced here because of regulations.

We have seen people literally fighting at Christmas time to get an Elmo doll or whatever crap toy is popular that year. It is going to be a nightmare when the stores have no food.

They can sue after they lose their jobs. If a million truck drivers get fired in the next couple months this country will melt down.

That doesn’t seem to help the nurses in New York. Businesses will still force it to be woke

This is about to get ugly. The Xiden administration hasn’t actually signed a mandate into law or even sent guidelines for OSHA. They made a press announcement and now these cities and businesses are running with it. It is actually worse that way because people can’t challenge the mandate in court.

How many trucking companies have over 100 employees? Truckers will walk too if they try to force them to get the jab.

I don’t think Nancy is human but you might have a point about that pope.

I’m sure that chart isn’t every secret handshake there is. I would say Nancy and pope are probably off the chart level masons.

They squeeze your hand with their thumb and fingers. If you’ve ever received one of these handshakes you notice it. I had a manager at a job that was a mason and he shook my hand like that one time.

It is definitely an odd way to hold hands. I would imagine Nancy and the Pope know more secret handshakes than are listed on that chart. It looks like a combination of mark master and fellow craft.
