What does it mean when there is [s] next to username? Is there a legend of symbols somewhere?
Netfilx has a "queer vampire" series coming!! First Kill. Think Buffy, but gay.
Anyone know what's habbening here today?
HONK!!
That is all.
The bad guys are hoping a bunch if snow is going to cause us problems. No parking allowed on city streets after snowstorm. Bylaw tickets everyone. Lol. They think the snow will keep protesters away. I think we will see every plow, loader, grader, anything that can move snow and thousands of men, women and kids with shovels, go down and move the snow whever our wonderful truckers want it moved. Tow truck trivers have refuse to take the trucks out, plow drivers can help dig them in. You can build a lot of wall with a foot of snow. Its possible tge world is about to see a display of unriy that will dwarf anything we've seen so far. It's gonna drive jt over the edge.
Received this from school board today. Skip to last paragraph. Claiming they aren't traumatizing kids, the convoy is! But they can help, just xheck out the website about "tragic events"
Dear Families,
The OCDSB has been closely monitoring the demonstrations this weekend with regard to the potential impact on schools, particularly in the downtown core.
All OCDSB schools will be open on Monday, January 31, 2022, with the exception of Centennial Public School which will shift to remote learning. Families with students at Centennial will receive additional information from their teacher and/or principal about remote learning opportunities on this day.
All OCDSB families are encouraged to plan extra time for travel on Tuesday and monitor traffic updates through local media and the City of Ottawa: https://traffic.ottawa.ca/map/. Families should check with their childcare providers and should also watch for updates from OSTA regarding student transportation.
These past few days may have been challenging for many in our community. We believe in freedom of speech, but words and symbols like Confederate flags and swastikas promote hate, instill fear and are intolerable. These events are a reminder of the urgency of our work in teaching about dignity, respect and human rights. If you are responding to questions from children, this information from our website about how to discuss difficult issues may be helpful.
As always, we will continue to monitor this situation and will provide updates if necessary.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
