Why markers, signposts, and deltas are important.
Our intellect, will, and strength can take us a certain distance. There is a point, however, when you step outside of those vehicles and must go the rest of the journey fueled only by faith. It is a time for testing our resolve. Another way to imagine it might be to picture a time when you were lost on foot (in the woods) or driving in an unfamiliar region. You are tired, famished, confused, and worried. But then, just then, you see it: a familiar landmark or signpost. Suddenly, you're reinvigorated. Your hope rekindles. It's going to be okay. You're still a good distance from your dwelling, but you now know you're on the correct course and keep your eyes peeled for the next marker to emerge, each bringing you one step closer to safety - to HOME.
There are still Dems/Reps on the fence and just waiting for a better option to come along. Why would WH's take that chance? The better option to me would be to keep things the way they are with a probable landslide victory. Edit. I believe in the plan and believe wholeheartedly that Trump wins, I just have a hard time wrapping my head around a change of batter, I guess.
My daughter and her family have left for Camp Pendleton. east coast to west coast. They will be on the road for about 8 days. Five children, two dogs, one cat, and a hamster. I am shattered. I've helped raise my grandchildren for the last 16 years and this has hit me very hard. I am really struggling. They will, thankfully, be on base but just from all the horror stories out of Cal that I hear daily I'm fearful for their wellbeing.. PI ask that you please lift them up for safe travels. I'd like to thank you all in advance for your prayers because I need to take a little break and I may not be able to respond right away. My heart hurts.
