The DC Metro rail lines running from Virginia were temporarily closed during that night. On my way home I saw workmen bring in a special heavy lift train & a lot of equipment through those tunnels. Not sure if its just planned maintenance or, knowing that secret govt-use tunnel systems are nearby, cover for something else.
