Apologies if this is already obvious, or has already been discussed. I can't spend as much time here as much as I'd like.

These people watched the TV, and they got their catch phrases from it. But they never did their own homework. They never did any investigation of their own. So they don't personally "own" it. They can only parrot the phrases, not even rephrase it.

They witness the TV caricatures calling everyone racist, so they think this is a strategy that is not only safe to use, but is purposeful, and will help them achieve their goals. When you state something against their doctrine, or their "belief system" (which doesn't exist, because that would mean that they would have thought about it, which means that they would be able to re-describe it in different words), they call us racist to distract us from discovering that they can not back up what they are saying, or counter our arguments.

So, in such a scenario, if we reply by calling them lazy, they are now stuck with a label that they can't get rid of. Now what can they say? If they deny that they are lazy, then ask them to add something to the argument, something that hasn't been said on TV. Refute one of our facts with another counter fact (stay away from using the word truth, as that word has been compromised). I doubt any of them can.

As soon as they use the word racist, we call them lazy. Thoughts? Am I out to lunch? Is this petty? Or would this take the wind out of their sails?
