Uh...that seems significant. He's signing EOs and just said, "We're getting rid of the cancer...I call it cancer...all of the cancer of the Biden administration." Maybe it's just a metaphor, but the way he paused and emphasized it slowly really makes me hopeful for what is to come for so many frens and family who need medical help. Let it be soon.
Maybe it's no big deal, but I was singing this song over karaoke on New Year's Day and got the chills at the line about Mr. Jimmy. I do believe Trump has always chosen his rally songs for specific reasons, and maybe the line after this one will be clearer soon, too. If it is, I can only guess the "her" is Hillary, and I'm sure we'll see her today. Maybe she'll get another envelope.
I went down to the Chelsea drugstore
To get your prescription filled
I was standing in line with Mr. Jimmy
And, man, did he look pretty ill
We decided that we would have a soda
My favorite flavor, cherry red
I sung my song to Mr. Jimmy
Yeah, and he said one word to me, and that was "dead"
I said to him
You can't always get what you want, well no
You can't always get what you want. I tell you, baby
You can't always get what you want, no
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You get what you need
I saw her today at the reception
In her glass was a bleeding man
She was practiced at the art of deception
Well, I could tell by her blood-stained hands, sing it
You can't always get what you want, well no
You can't always get what you want. I tell you, baby
You can't always get what you want, no
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You get what you need
I went to the midnight service at my church tonight. Our priest talked about how the first people to hear the good news of the birth of Christ were the shepherds in the fields. The angels told the lowly shepherds about Jesus before they told any king. It reminded me how so many of us feel like we don't matter and don't play a big enough part in this movement and this "movie" to make a difference. But we can and we do, and that's how God sees us, too.
On the way home, listening to some classic Christmas songs as I drove, I saw a big golden meteor streak across the night sky. It felt like the Lord was confirming my feelings tonight and letting me know that He's always listening and that we are all important to Him.
Anyway, this is one of my favorite old Christmas songs with one of my favorite messages, simple and timeless. I am praying for peace across this world every day, and I pray the same for every single one of you tonight. Merry Christmas. ❤️🌎🌠
"Said the king to the people everywhere: 'Listen to what I say Pray for peace, people everywhere Listen to what I say The child, the child, sleeping in the night He will bring us goodness and light He will bring us goodness and light'"
I post here sometimes about what it's like to be a lone wolf conservative teacher in a profession drowning in liberal filth. Well, many of my coworkers are going to be in an absolute state of rage and grief today, telling the kids all kinds of crazy things. And all I want to do is stay home, rest, drink coffee, and watch more coverage of our dear POTUS.
The teacher in the room next to mine has been saying all semester that Trump supporters are all woman-hating morons, that Kamala would have no trouble defeating the king baby, and that we wouldn't know the election results for a week. I said to her yesterday, "Oh, I think we'll know tomorrow." And her response: " No, Trump will drag it out for a week or more! Then Kamala will win." I just smiled. It feels good to be a part of something so big and so RIGHT, even when I have to hide my little light so often. Last night, the world got brighter and better, and for the first time in a LONG time, I feel like dreaming again. IT IS A GOOD DAY, even if I have to spend it at work, soaking up the blue tears.
I woke up early this morning and started watching the interview on YouTube. Scrolling through the comments instantly lifted my mood and brought tears to my eyes. People from around the entire world are leaving comments in support of the USA, Trump, and world peace. There were comments from France, Australia, Germany, South Africa, Ghana, Paraguay, Japan, Kazakhstan, and even more countries. The entire world knows the epic importance of this election. The entire world knows that this does not just affect our country, but everyone on the planet. LET'S GO.
