We've been dealing with this for the past year and it's been a bittersweet work of God in our lives. I have placed my son in God's hands and I don't ask for his cancer to be cured, even though that would satisfy my earthly desires. I do, however, ask that my son allow himself to be touched and used by God in a powerful way in the time he has left on this earth, however long that may be. He does have a strong faith, but he is very hesitant to put himself out there and allow his story to show how amazing God has been. Please pray that his faith would be transformed in a way that would bring light and life to those that need it, bringing glory to God. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

(I know you are curious about our approach to cancer, even though this post is not what this is about. We are throwing everything at it, including all of the alternative things mentioned here from time to time.)

This Christmas season my heart and mind have been renewed with the awesome power of what transpired when Christ was born. God's people had been awaiting this King to be born for hundreds of years in anticipation of the prophecies to be fulfilled. I feel like we can relate somewhat as we await for swift justice for those who have sought to ruin our country, our world. But in the end, we don't need the kind of justice that happens on earth, because we can be assured that God's righteous anger will deal with each decrepit soul with a heavy hand. And we don't need to sit anxiously for a Savior, because he already came!

So go on throughout this time with peace and joy in your hearts, knowing you have all you need, those of you who trust in Christ for your salvation!

I just searched for "great awakening" on twitter and it just made my day.

I thought this was posted in the last 2 weeks, but can't find it in my upvoted posts. Would like to revisit this info in light of the Carhart debacle. Appreciate the help!
