carnivores will get some vegetables when they eat the stomachs of small animals then the veg’s will already be digested. It wouldn’t hurt to add some vegetable baby food for vitamins etc. I think you are doing a wonderful job!!!! I didn’t see if your vet responded back to you.
Maybe get a second opinion. I’ve had one vet tell me something had to be done (that will be $1,000) and another vet say nothing had to be done. It sure sounds like an abscess .
