Well said, fren! We'll see how this plays out one way or another.
I'm encouraged generally by the success of memetic warfare and its ability to skirt the systems designed to constrain and influence public opinion.
The algorithms can be tricked. The whole idea of the "Deep State" is the direct result of an intentional trick. It's real, and people knew it was real, but it wasn't directly in the public conscious as it is now where even the DS itself is forced to reckon with exterior knowledge of its existence and tactics.
If Blackmail Inflation is to be successful as an op, then it's important Lin Wood uses his platform to "spray and pray." Ideally, some folks are also using algorithmic tricks to suppress the existing control networks and "release the storm" / "release the Kraken."
From the outset, I "felt" these statements more than I understood them. And from a memetic desire standpoint, the creation of that new emotion via these emotionally-charged terms/phrases/sensibilities can be a powerful influence on the prevailing narrative.
Sum-up of my research for now..
According to wikipedia, IK passed on 5/13/19 and CS posted this (the IK anagram) on 5/16/19 to his site.
Icarus. CS (on the Gnostic Warfare board) says the following in a reply (5/30/19):
"What if the dead man switch wasn't a thing, but an [sic] technique.
590"
590 is the link to the anagram post (5/28/19).
Sooo..
- CS posts the above 5/16
- CS posts the links with Slack screenshots on 5/28 between The Leper and Slater (would indicate The Leper as the screenshotter) taken between 07/28/18-08/07/18.
- CS suggests deadman's switch as a technique, rather than a "thing."
Which rabbit hole to follow? On the whole, I'm currently under the impression that Lin might be borrowing CS's deadman switch strategy in terms of technique, rather than thing in and of itself (i.e. physical files that folks can access).
That said, the interaction between The Leper and Slater is pretty interesting - not sure where to start on tracking down which workspace underpins "Josiah Division."
So who is Slater? Personal Assistant/Driver and stylist for whom? Somebody who did his first campus tour in California and DC? Okay.
The Leper refers to the explosiveness of Kappy's allegations and their impact, suggesting John Brennan is involved. More stuff.
In all, The Leper seems to be coaching Slater on how to utilize the technique and employ CS's concept of "Blackmail Inflation." Lin Wood seems have picked up this torch and started following the strategy.
That seems to be part of the game, and maybe is a tell about the game Lin is playing. Which is to say, Cultstate's overarching motive is to explain how easy it is to influence the public conscious online via information warfare.
Meme Warz
Simply by "echoing" the existence of blackmail and its usage as an asset among the hegemonic class, whether having it or not, there's still a question as to whether or not you have it. Do you? Does he? Doesn't matter really. The fact that somebody, somewhere might just have it is likely enough to incite paranoia among this class to prevent it from operating effectively.
The networks enabling blackmail are incredibly discreet and based on a lot of trust (and, of course, blackmail). If 1,000 Lin Woods are echoing the existence of blackmail, and/or saying they've got it, then you could hypothetically disintegrate these trust networks and make them turn on one another. Forcing their hands.
Came here to post this after reviewing.
The goal, and perhaps Lin-dy's goal, is to follow the formula suggested by The Leper. By which I mean propagate the information war (the Butterfly War) in the following way:
- Recognize that blackmail exists, and is an asset used especially among the global hegemony.
- Seed the notion of "Deep Fakes" into the public conscious (post about it, talk about it, share things that talk about it, etc). 3a. Further seed the notion that deep fakes, or real videos/pictures (the contents of these blackmail assets) exist "out there." 3b. Plug the channels of the protective mechanisms employed by the global hegemony to incite fear.
- Instigate a chain reaction, fear-based on the part of the global hegemony potentially affected by the assets leaking out.
- Incite infighting and implosion of hegemonic network from within.
Now we're talking. CS posted this 3 days following "I Ask Papacy"'s untimely death.
While CS seemed a proponent of Kappy's push to expose blackmail assets, I tend to doubt he was actually in possession of any "files." But...
CS does detail more about this here: https://web.archive.org/web/20190722084103/https://8ch.net/gnosticwarfare/res/590.html#590
Which may seem to suggest some connection between the /slack and torsocks reference in the article, since he lays out 19 screenshots of slack correspondence between "The Leper" and "Slater" on the Josiah Division workspace.
